1 <br /> 11CVV <br /> A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br /> work will include the abandonment of groundwater well MW4, excavation, transport, and <br /> disposal of the impacted soil in the former tank pit, dewatering the excavation of impacted <br /> 1 groundwater and disposing of the impacted groundwater, backfill and compaction of the <br /> excavation with clean fill material, the installation of replacement groundwater well MW4R and <br /> developing and sampling the replacement well, and preparing a summary report <br /> 1 ATC is assuming that excavating a hole 15 feet wide, 48 feet long, and 12 feet deep will remove <br /> the majority of the impacted soil Excavated soil will be periodically field screened with a FID <br /> 1 to attempt to remove the majority of the impacted soil The impacted soil, approximately 320 <br /> cubic yards or 450 tons, will be loaded from the excavation directly into trucks and transported to <br /> 1 Forward Inc landfill in Stockton for disposal <br /> The excavation will be backfilled with clean pea gravel from twelve feet to five feet below <br /> 1 ground surface (bgs) with a t2-inch steel conductor casing placed from the bottom of the <br /> excavation to the surface ATC will then pump groundwater that has accumulated in the <br /> excavation through the conductor casing into two 6,500-gallon poly tanks placed adjacent to the <br /> ' excavation ATC anticipates that approximately 10,000 gallons of groundwater will be pumped <br /> into the poly tanks The excavation will then be backfilled with clean fill maternal <br /> I <br /> w%625001reports\CAP doc 10 <br />
