yaw� li 11 • Soil samples collected from boring SB7 in the vicinity of the former UST on the northern part of the site contained low to nondetectable concentrations of TPHg Soil sample SB7-5 contained toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes at concentrations of 0 018, 0 029, and 0 27 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg), respectively Soil sample SB7-25 contained ethylbenzene and total xylenes at concentrations of 0 012 mg/kg and 0 027 mg/kg, respectively Soil samples SB7-10 and SB7- 15 contained no detectable concentrations of BTEX None of the soil samples collected from boring SB7 contained detectable concentrations of oxygenate fuel additives Soil sample SB7-5 contained total lead at an elevated concentration of 54 mg/kg Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in Table 1 Laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation is presented in Attachment 3 Groundwater Analytical Results Grab groundwater samples collected from borings SB 1, SB2, and SB3 contained detectable concentrations of TPHg The sample from boring SB2 also contained elevated concentrations of TPHd Grab groundwater samples collected from bonngs SB4, SB5, SB6, and SB7 did not contain detectable concentrations of TPHg The grab groundwater sample from boring SB4 also contained relatively low concentrations of TPHd Elevated concentrations of total lead were detected in the samples from borings SB2, SB4, and SB5 None of the grab groundwater samples collected detectable concentrations of BTEX or oxygenate fuel additives Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 Laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation are contained in Attachment 4 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Based on the analytical results and field observations, the soil and groundwater beneath the location of the former 10,000-gallon UST are impacted by TPHg TPHd, and lead Groundwater samples collected from borings SB4, SB5, and SB6 indicate that the extent of the plume is likely less than 80 feet from the former UST in the northwest, northeast, and southeast direction None of the soil or groundwater samples collected from the beneath the location of the former 10,000- gallon UST contained BTEX or oxygenate fuel additives Soil samples collected from beneath the former 750-gallon UST contained detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons The concentrations of toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, and TPHg were at their highest concentrations in the soil sample collected from 5 feet bgs Concentrations in the soil samples collected from 10 feet, 15 feet, and 25 feet bgs were barely above method detection limits The grab groundwater sample collected from beneath the former 750-gallon UST did not contain detectable concentrations of BTEX, TPHg, TPHd, or oxygenate fuel additives w 1625004eporWsum doe 4 • SMTH
