INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Huff & Huff, Inc , Environmental Consultants (Huff & Huff), Advanced <br /> ' GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005 for the <br /> property located at 1805 Harbor Street, Stockton, California(site) The scope of work included the <br /> ' performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The <br /> location of the site and surrounding area are Illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background Information, Including details of previous site <br /> Investigations and site conditions, is included In Appendix A <br /> ' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br /> ' Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and the <br /> sampling of ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> ' Well monitoring, purging, and sampling were performed by Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of <br /> San Jose,California on 11 August 2005 A Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth <br /> ' to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-7 relative to the tops of the well casings <br /> After the depth to ground water measurements were collected,casing water in each monitoring well <br /> was purged using a positive air displacement pump Approximately 6 to 10 5 gallons of water were <br /> rpurged from each of the monitoring wells, equivalent to three casing water volumes per well <br /> Temperature, pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured for stabilization at regular <br /> ' intervals using an Oakton water analyzer, In addition, dissolved oxygen was measured with a YSI <br /> meter The field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water was containerized In properly <br /> ' labeled,Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending <br /> proper disposal <br /> The monitoring wells were also observed for the potential presence of free product No measurable <br /> free product or sheen was observed in any of the wells <br /> 1 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentsl,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
