SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work will include the following tasks <br /> • Planning and pre-field work activities <br /> • Monitoring well abandonment and replacement <br /> ' • Soil excavation, shoring and sample collection/analysis <br /> • Dewatering to remove water up to 13 feet above the excavation floor <br /> • Excavation backfilling <br /> • Soil and ground water disposal <br /> • Report preparation <br /> 3 1 PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> A health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Guidance Manualfor Hazardous Waste Site Activities(National Institute for Occupational Safety and <br /> ' Health Administration, U S Coast Guard and U S Environmental Protection Agency, 1985) Prior <br /> to mobilization,the area of excavation will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through <br /> Underground Service Alert Permits required from other agencies, including a City of Stockton <br /> Municipal Utilities Department Wastewater Discharge Permit, will also be procured <br /> A utility pole is located at the southern edge of the proposed excavation area If necessary, the pole <br /> 1 may be removed prior to excavation, and replaced after completion of excavation <br /> 3 2 MONITORING WELL ABANDONMENT AND REPLACEMENT <br /> Monitoring well MW-2 will be abandoned by over-dniling the well to total depth and backfilling to <br /> 1 Advanced GeoEnvttonmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
