INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Huff & Huff, Inc , Environmental Consultants (Huff & Huff), Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report--Second Quarter 2005 for the <br /> property located at 1805 Harbor Street, Stockton,California(site) The scope of work included the <br /> performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event, two site visits to check the petro trap <br /> ' installed in well MW-2,and preparation of this report The location of the site and surrounding area <br /> are illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site <br /> ' background information, including details of previous site investigations and site conditions, is <br /> included in Appendix A <br /> ' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and the <br /> ' • sampling of ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> ' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> Well monitoring,purging,and sampling were performed by Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of <br /> San Jose, California on 20 May 2005 A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to <br /> ground water in monitoring wells MW-2 through MW-7 relative to the tops of the well casings, at <br /> this time, Blaine was unable to locate well MW-1 due to a pile of cottonseed on top of the well, <br /> ' however, the well was located and sampled on 25 May 2005 After the depth to ground water <br /> measurements were collected, casing water in each monitoring well was purged using dedicated, <br /> disposable bailers Approximately 7 5 to 11 5 gallons of water were purged from each of the <br /> ' monitoring wells, equivalent to three casing water volumes per well <br /> Wells were also observed for the potential presence of free product No measurable free product was <br /> observed in any of the monitoring wells A sheen was observed in MW-2 on 19 April and <br /> 21 June 2005 during inspections of a "petro trap" installed in well MW-2, however, no sheen or <br /> ' product was observed during inspection on 20 May 2005 <br /> Temperature, pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured for stability at regular <br /> intervals using an Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water <br /> was containerized in properly labeled, Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon <br /> r. drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
