ESTIMATED TIME TO COMPLIANCE
`" Graphs illustrating the results of ground water analysis at the site were generated to estimate when
dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations at the site will be in compliance with the CRWQCB
water quality objective for TPH-d of 100 gg/l. The CRWQCB water quality objective for TPH-d is
a taste and odor threshold, or the concentration at which TPH-d will not impart an undesirable taste
or odor in ground water or other edible products of aquatic origin.
Pre-remediation graphs (pre-excavation, see Section 5.0) illustrate the results of ground water
analysis in wells MW-2, MW-3 and MW-4 between August 1998 and March 2009. The pre-
remediation graph illustrating data from well MW-2 shows an increasing trend in the ground water
data, indicating the need for remediation activities in order to reach water quality objectives. The pre-
' remediation graph illustrating data from wells MW-3 and MW-4 shows a very slowly declining
., trend, with a compliance date for MW-3 projected to be in June 2022.
The post-remediation graph(post-excavation)illustrates the results of groundwater analysis in wells
MW-3 and MW-4 between August 2005 and March 2009.During excavation activities,an estimated
8,819 pounds to 9,594 pounds of impacted soil was removed from the site, therefore data collected
before August 2005 is no longer indicative of site conditions. The post-remediation graph shows a
i6- quickly declining trend, with an estimated compliance date for well MW-3 projected to be in
February 2012. The estimated compliance date for well MW-4 is projected to be in May 2010.
Pre- and post-rernediation graphs illustrating the estimated date of compliance are included in
Appendix N.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
