1.0 Scope of Work <br /> • Conduct site reconnaissance for a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. <br /> • Complete soil borings to approximately 12 feet below ground surface. <br /> • Collect soil samples. <br /> • Collect water sample if groundwater is present. <br /> This HASP was prepared for the use of SECOR personnel while performing the following tasks: <br /> Task 1: Conducting site reconnaissance. <br /> Task 2: Complete soil borings to a maximum of 12 feet below ground surface. <br /> Task 3: Collect soil samples. <br /> Task 4: Collect water sample, if water is present. <br /> The above stated tasks will be conducted in a manner consistent with the standard methods and <br /> assumptions. <br /> 2.0 Background Information on the Project Site <br /> Site is a retail tire store conducting active operations involving tire and brake replacement and repair and <br /> minor automobile maintenance. <br /> 3.0 Site Plan <br /> A site Plan is included in Attachment 1, <br /> 4.0 Emergency Response <br /> (Remember this must specific to the site and discussed with the client/facility manager. In <br /> addition to injuries and illnesses noted here, this section should also address how the client <br /> wants us to respond to: the public or the press, fires, bomb threats, etc. You must discuss <br /> emergency response at the pre-startup meeting with the contractor to make sure that you can act <br /> on the response plan in the event of an emergency. All SECOR staff must have completed CPR <br /> and First Aid training) <br /> The Site Health & Safety Officer(SHSO) must be familiar with the directions to the hospital <br /> given in Attachment 2. <br /> Injury or Illness <br /> If an injury or illness occurs, take the following action: <br /> ♦ Determine if emergency response (fire/ambulance) staff are necessary. If so, dial 911 on cell <br /> phone or closest available phone. Closest available telephone is in the tire store office. <br /> SECOR International Incorporated 1 Generic HASP <br />
