Mr. Harlin Knoll <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> Workplan <br /> We propose to conduct the following scope of work: <br /> • Utilize C-57 licensed Fisch Environmental to advance two soil borings to depths of 35-55 <br /> feet below grade using a direct push drill rig. <br /> • Collect soil samples at five-foot intervals from each boring for lithologic identification and <br /> field screening for volatile contaminants. <br /> • Collect one discrete water sample from each boring using a Hydropunch or equivalent <br /> sampling device. <br /> • Submit selected soil samples and both groundwater samples to a state-certified laboratory for <br /> analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) by EPA Method 8015M; <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8021; fuel oxygenates <br /> (MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME) and additives (1,2-DCA, EDB) by EPA Method 8260; <br /> and total lead by EPA Method 6010. <br /> • Backfill each boring to the ground surface with neat cement grout. <br /> All work will be conducted in accordance with Ground Zero's Quality Assurance/Quality <br /> Control Plan (Attachment A) and our Site Specific Health and Safety Plan (Attachment B). Any <br /> investigation-derived wastes will be property contained, profiled and disposed of. <br /> A boring permit application, MFR form and associated fees are enclosed.
