In addition, soil samples were collected from the soil <br /> piles of excavated material. Soil sampling was conducted in <br /> accordance with WaterWork ' s Soil Sampling Protocol (Attachment <br /> 1 ) . The soil sampling report is presented in Attachment 2. <br /> Sample locations are plotted on Figure 1. The excavation samples <br /> and composites of the soil pile samples were analyzed for <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (EPA 8020) , and total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline ( DOHS LUFT Method ) .
