(GTI ) as part of the continuing subsurface investigation for <br /> the above referenced site (see Figure 1 , Site Location Map) . GTI <br /> was requested to continue with the subsurface investigation of <br /> the site following a meeting between the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (CRWQCB-V) , <br /> Mr . Ted Knowles, a representative of your office and GTI . This <br /> work plan will be conducted in accordance with guidelines set <br /> forth by the CRWQCB-V and follow work steps outlined in point 3 <br /> of their letter dated May 26, 1988 . <br /> In September 1987 , GTI responded to a work request by <br /> Mr . Frank Laduca, a contractor for Mr . Ted Knowles , to install <br /> three groundwater monitoring wells and collect associated soil <br /> and groundwater samples . The aforementioned work steps were com- <br /> pleted and followed by a summary letter . The letter, as <br /> previously submitted to the SJLHD and CRWQCB-V, is titled <br /> "Monitoring Well Installation and Sampling Results for Knowles <br /> Gas Station, 1140 West Hammer Lane, Stockton, California" , dated <br /> October 22 , 1987 . The three wells were sampled again in Febru- <br /> ary, with the results also submitted to the CRWQCB-V and SJLHD. <br /> The data from previous work will be used in conjunction with the <br /> following work steps to prepare a "Preliminary Report" , following <br /> the guidelines established by the CRWQCB-V. <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> In order to provide a better definition of hydrocarbons in soil <br /> and assess the impact on groundwater (as requested by the <br /> Offices throughout the U.S., Canada and Overseas <br /> Western offices in: Tempe, AZ; Concord, CA; Sacramento, CA; San Diego, CA; <br /> Torrance, CA; Ventura, CA;Englewood, CO;Renton, WA <br />
