Drilling was done by Sp <br /> rations, Inc. under C57 license #5.12268. Soils were logged <br /> continuously by a staff geologist using the Unified Soil Classi- <br /> fication System. Groundwater was detected at 56 feet below grade <br /> during drilling and stabilized at55 feet. Soils encountered <br /> were consistent with logs for the other wells installed on-site. <br /> The MW8 log is contained in Attachment 1. <br /> A single soil sample was collected for laboratory analysis at the <br /> soil/groundwater interface, 55.5 feet below grade. The soil <br /> sample was analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> xylenes (BTBX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHG) . Analysis levels were below detection limits for both <br /> STEX and TPHG (Table 1)- <br /> On Monday January 28, monitoring well MW8 was purged and sampled. <br /> The groundwater sample was analyzed for STEX and TPHG. Analysis <br /> results for groundwater were also below detection limits for all <br /> Attach- <br /> analytes (Table 2).
