SUBSURFACE INVES'T'IGATION <br /> The additional investigation was conducted pursuant to the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) directive dated July 8, 1999, and in <br /> accordance with the October 12, 1999 workplan and June 22, 2000 workplan addendum prepared <br /> by Ground Zero Analysis, Inc (Ground Zero) <br /> Field Methods <br /> Bonng SB1X was advanced in the northernmost eastbound driving lane of Hammer Lane (Figure <br /> 2) to investigate subsurface conditions north of well MW5 The conditions of an encroachment <br /> permit issued by the City of Stockton required the work to be performed between the hours of <br /> 11 00 p m and 6 00 a in Sean Garvey and John Lane of Ground Zero arrived at the site the <br /> evening of July 13, 2000 to supervise drilling activities and traffic control, and drilling commenced <br /> shortly after midnight Mr Harlan Knoll of San Joaquin County Public PHS/EHD conducted a <br /> site inspection and observed field activities <br /> Fisch Environmental (Fisch), a State licensed drilling company (C57-683865), advanced the <br /> borings under the supervision of field geologist Sean Garvey and project manager John Lane, a <br /> Knowles hwnhepoâ–ºW3gm2000 doc <br />
