(RESNA's) activities during the sewnd <br /> quarter of 1993 at the above referenced site (Figure 1). Activities this quarter included <br /> measuring depth to water, purging, and sampling of the wells. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater monitoring was performed on June 30, 1993. The water table elevation has fallen <br /> an average of 0.13 feet since the last monitoring event in March 3993. The groundwater flow <br /> direction on June 30 was generally easterly with a hydraulic gradient averaging 0.004 ft/ft. This <br /> gradient is consistent with previous monitoring events. A groundwater gradient map is included <br /> as Figure 2. Monitoring data is summarized in 'fable 1. Monitoring data and well purge logs <br /> are contained in Attachment 1 <br /> SAMPLING METHODOLOGY <br /> Well MW-3 remained dry, all other site wells, MW-1, MW-2 and MVI-4 through MW-8, were <br /> purged and sampled The groundwater samples were submitted to Sequoia Analytical (DHS <br /> Cert. #1210) for analyses of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) and benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) utilizing EPA methods 5030/8015 and 8020, <br /> respectively. Sample collection was conducted in accordance with the site Quality <br /> Assurance/Quality Control Plan (Appendix II, October 25, 1990 WorkPlan). <br /> QRTERLYI2QR-1993 FNL <br />
