This letter report updates RESNA Industnes' (RESNA's) activities during the first quarter of <br /> 1993 at the above referenced site (Figure 1) Activities this quarter included measuring depth <br /> to water, purging, and sampling of the wells <br /> Groundwater Monitoriniz <br /> Groundwater monitoring was performed on March 12, 1993 The water table elevation has risen <br /> an average of 3 23 feet since December 1992 The groundwater flow direction on March 12 <br /> was generally easterly with a hydraulic gradient averaging 0 0027 ft/ft or approximately 14 <br /> ft/mile An anomalous groundwater low is noted in the vicinity of MW 1 This gradient is <br /> consistent with previous monitoring events A groundwater gradient map is included as Figure <br /> 2 Monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 Monitoring data and well purge logs are <br /> contained in Attachment 1 <br /> Sampling Methodology <br /> Well MW-3 was dry, all other wells at the site, MW-1, MW-2 and MW-4 through MW-8 were <br /> purged and sampled The groundwater samples were submitted to RESNA Environmental <br /> Laboratory for analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) and benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) utilizing EPA methods 5030/8015 and 8020, <br /> respectively Sample collection was conducted in accordance with the site Quality <br /> Assurance/Quality Control Plan (Appendix Il, October 25, 1990 WorkPlan) <br /> QRTBRLYIiQR 1993 FNL <br /> V` <br />
