A groundwater
gradient map is included as Figure 2 Monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 Monitoring
data and well purge logs are contained in Attachment 1.
All wells at the site, with the exception of well MW-3 which was dry, were purged and
sampled The groundwater samples were submitted to RESNA Environmental Laboratory for
analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) and benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX). Sample collection was conducted in accordance with the
site Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan (Appendix II, October 25, 1990 WorkPlan)
Laboratory analysis indicates elevated levels of TPHG in the samples collected from wells MW-
1, MW-2, MW-4, and MW-5, however, the chromatograms for the samples from wells MW-1,
MW-2 and MW-4 contained an unidentified peak, not matching a gasoline fingerprint Elevated
levels of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes, were detected in the samples collected
from wells MW-1 and MW-5 Slightly elevated levels of toluene and xylenes were found in the
samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-4 All analytes for wells MW-b, MW-7 and MW-
' QR061892 SAY
