San Joaquin Street <br /> Stockton, CA., 95201 <br /> C Subject: Site Contamination Work Plan <br /> Federal Emergency Management Agency <br /> KJAX Radio Station Transmitter <br /> 5451 East Harding Way - San Joaquin County Site Code 2598 <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Project No. 8054 <br /> C I <br /> Dear Ms. Hinson: <br /> Enclosed is the Site Contamination Work Plan prepared by Woodward-Clyde Federal Services <br /> for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to conduct site characterization <br /> activities including subsurface soil sampling at the KJAX Radio Station Transmitter located <br /> at 5451 .East Harding Way, Stockton, California. The Site Contamination Work Plan has <br /> been submitted to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division for approval. The <br /> purpose of the Work Plan is to describe the planned activities following the removal of one <br /> 1000 gallon underground storage tank(UST)located at the KJAX site. The tank removal soil <br /> sampling results and tank removal documentation was submitted by Woodward-Clyde to <br /> e SJCEHD in a letter dated January 5, 1994. The proposed activities described in the Site <br /> Contamination Work Plan are in response to a letter to FEMA from Ms. Donna Heran <br /> (SJCEHD) dated December 27, 1993. <br /> Also enclosed is a letter request "Application for Well/Pump Permit' to conduct the soil <br /> boring activities.
