r��r! <br /> .1 <br /> RESULTS OF <br /> ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION <br /> at <br /> Beacon Station No 641 <br /> 1210 East Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ultramar Inc (Ultramar), Horizon Environmental Inc (Horizon) has <br /> prepared this report documenting the performance and results of an additional subsurface <br /> investigation at the Beacon Station No 641 located in San Joaquin County, California The <br /> • site vicinity in Stockton, is shown on Figure i The purpose of the additional investigation <br /> was to evaluate the horizontal and vertical extent of gasoline-range petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> in site soil and groundwater The work was described by Horizon in Work Plan for an <br /> Additional Investigation dated April 22, 1999 The San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Division (SJCEHD) approved the proposed work on May 21, 1999 <br /> Fieldwork for this additional investigation included drilling and sampling of one soil boring <br /> (B3), and drilling, sampling and installation of three groundwater monitoring wells (MW-6, <br /> MW-7 and MW-8) The field work and preparation of this report were conducted in <br /> accordance with the State of California Water Resources Control Board document Leaking <br /> Underground Fuel Tanks UFT Manual and the Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> document (RWQCB) Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Prehmina <br /> Investigation and Evaluation of Underwround Tank Sites <br /> • <br />
