Beacon Station No 641 December 8, 1997 <br /> Stockton- f i t� nal race InveStLgation Report <br /> analyses were TPHg, BTEX and MTBE by modified EPA Methods 8020/602 On October <br /> 2, 1997, groundwater samples were collected from the newly installed monitoring wells <br />' MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, and MW-5 by Horizon personnel and submitted to Kiff under COC <br /> Requested analyses were TPHg, BTEX and MTBE by modified EPA Methods <br /> 8015/8020/602, and the oxygenated fuel additive compounds methanol, ethanol, tertiary <br /> butanol, MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, and TAME by EPA Method 8260 <br /> r <br /> Analytical results for groundwater samples submitted from the monitoring wells are <br /> summarized in Table 2 Laboratory analytical data and COC reports are included in <br /> Appendix G <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based on data collected during this study, Horizon concludes the following <br /> • Gasoline-range hydrocarbon impact has occurred in the vadose-zone soil and shallow <br /> groundwater beneath the site <br /> o Based on the soil analytical results for MW-2, soil to the west appears to be defined <br /> except for minor impact in the capillary fringe <br />' O Hydrocarbon impact to the groundwater has not been defined onsite and further <br /> investigation is warranted <br />' • Based on the current groundwater data, it appears that another hydrocarbon source <br /> possibly exists to the west of the site <br /> 1641-13 rpt <br /> 10 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
