(ContiGroup) 1805 Harbor Street Stockton, CA 95203 Site Code 1132 /10 -C/ Corrective Action Program Schedule Dear Mr. Wong: In May 2004, ContiGroup submitted a "Report on Soil and Groundwater Investigation Former ContiGroup Grain Elevator, Stockton, CA" and the quarterly monitoring report will be submitted by July 30, 2004. From these sampling activities we have obtained additional information regarding the site. The results of these efforts also raised some additional questions regarding the nature and extent of the contamination, making the next sampling round important in verifying the extent of groundwater impacts. We are proposing a schedule of site activities and corrective action plan development for your consideration. Before completing the corrective action plan, we seek your approval of the elements to be included in this plan and the approach we will use. Therefore,we have added the preparation of a Corrective Action Work Plan to the schedule. Once you review and approve the approach, data collection, and alternatives.to be analyzed, we can proceed quickly.
