Site Code: 1993 <br /> French Camp, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has recently reviewed the "Report of Findings" <br /> submitted by Wallace-Kuhl and Associates Inc. , dated Dec. 2, 1993 <br /> and has the following comments: <br /> -PHS/EHD concurs that additional excavation of the former <br /> dispenser location is not necessary and concurs with the <br /> use of clean fill . Please advise PHS/EHD as to <br /> the disposition of the excavated soil. (On-site <br /> treatment or disposal) . <br /> -Due to the fact that the gradient has fluctuated from NE <br /> (3/26/93) to NW (10/93) , PHS/EHD will monitor the <br /> gradient direction over the next few quarterly <br /> monitorings in order to ensure the presence of a <br /> downgradient monitoring well . <br /> Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank <br /> Regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23 , Subchapter <br /> 16) a quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division and Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until the <br /> investigation and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. The <br /> report is to show the: <br /> -status of investigation and cleanup activities including <br /> the results of all investigations completed to date; <br /> -proposed continuing or next phase of investigation; <br /> -method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for <br /> the completion of the investigation of the site and <br /> remediation; <br /> -method and location of disposal of the released <br /> hazardous substance and any contaminated soil, <br /> groundwater or surface water; <br /> -manifest required for transport of hazardous substances; <br /> -monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, <br /> ph, conductivity, gradient; <br /> -analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
