r <br /> GRANITE CONSTRUCTION FACILITY <br /> WKA No 2088 05 <br /> January 18, 1995 <br /> Page 2 <br /> The samples were immediately placed in an ice-chest with ice and submitted under chain-of- <br /> custody to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) <br /> as gasoline and diesel using EPA test method 8015 modified and Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene <br /> and Total Xylenes (BTEX) using EPA test method 602 <br /> The submersible pump was cleaned with a solution of liqui-nox and water prior to purging each <br /> well to minimize the potential for cross-contamination All water removed during sampling and <br /> purging operations was placed in sealed and labeled 55-gallon drums and stored on site <br /> No free product was observed in monitoring wells MW1 through MW6, however, well MW3 had <br /> a petroleum hydrocarbon odor Analysis of water samples MWi, MW2, and MW3 revealed <br /> TPH as gasoline concentrations of 190 ug/1, 760 ggl f and 410 ug/1, respectively, at least one or <br /> more BTEX constituents were detected in wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 Analysis of samples <br />.
