WALLACE • KUHL <br /> FrA550CIATE5INC August st 27, 1996 a ►� . <br /> CtANC <br /> Mr 3 14 <br /> Hop Essick <br /> Granite Construction <br /> Post Office Box 151 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> GRANITE CONSTRUCTION FACILITY <br /> 10500 South Harlan Road <br /> French Camp, California 95231 <br /> WKA No 2088 05 <br /> Dear Mr Essick, <br /> We are submitting this quarterly groundwater monitoring report summarizing our <br /> recent work at the above-referenced site (Plate 1) The purpose of our work is to <br /> comply with quarterly sampling requirements requested by the Central Valley <br /> } Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County <br /> f <br /> Geotechnical Engineering Public Health Services Department (SJCPHS) <br /> Engineering Geology On July 22, 1996, groundwater samples were obtained from the four monitoring <br /> 7 ` Environmental Consulting (NMI,wells MW2� MW3� /and MW8) Monitoring wells MW4 through MW7 <br /> I <br /> were not sampled at the request of Mr Harlin Knoll of SJCPHS Prior to sampling, <br /> aRemediauon Services <br /> the wells were checked for visual signs of free product by using a clear, Teflon <br /> 4 <br /> Construction Inspection bailer When free product was not observed, the wells were purged and sampled as <br /> described in Appendix A The groundwater samples were analyzed for Total <br /> Materials Testing <br /> aa+ Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline using EPA method 8015 modified and <br /> '1 for Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes (BTEX) using EPA method 602 <br /> 3050 Industrial Blvd <br /> ,K Groundwater measurements indicate groundwater flow direction is to the <br /> West Sacramento northwest with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 003 feet/foot (see Plate 2) <br /> f CA 95691 A historical summary of the groundwater elevations measured during past sampling <br /> Fax 916 372 2565 <br /> � events is summarized In Table 1 <br /> f 916 372 1434 <br /> Recycled paper <br />
