WALLACE ■ KUML <br /> &ASSOCIATES INC May 26, 1995 <br /> MAY 3 11995 <br /> Mr Hop Essick <br /> Granite Construction ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMITISERIIICES <br /> Post Office Box 151 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> AND PETITION TO CHANGE SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> GRANITE CONSTRUCTION FACILITY <br /> 10500 South Harlan Road <br /> French Camp, California 95231 <br /> WKA No 2088 05 <br /> Dear Mr Essick, <br /> We are submitting this quarterly ground water monitoring report summarizing our <br /> recent work at the above-referenced site (Plate 1) The purpose of our work is to <br /> comply with quarterly sampling requirements requested by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services Department (SJCPHS) <br /> r <br /> Geotechnical Engineering <br /> On May 11, 1995, ground water samples were obtained from the eight on-site <br /> Engineering Geology monitoring wells Prior to sampling, the wells were checked for visual signs of <br /> free product by using a new, clear, teflon bailer When free product was not <br /> Environmental Consulting observed, the wells were purged and sampled as described in Appendix A <br /> Remediation Services <br /> Ground water measurements indicate ground water flow direction is to the <br /> Construction inspection northwest with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 003 feet/foot (see Plate 2) <br /> A historical summary of the ground water elevations measured during past <br /> Materials Testing <br /> sampling events is summarized in Table 1 <br /> 1 l <br /> Laboratory test results for the water samples obtained from MW1 through MW3 <br /> 3050 Industrial Blvd revealed detectable concentrations of TPH as gasoline ranging from 570 /Ag/1 to <br /> 2,000 µg/l, BTEX was also detected in monitoring wells MW1 through MW3 No <br /> as �� West Sacramento <br /> detectable concentrations of TPH as gasoline and BTEX were detected in water <br /> CA 95691 samples collected from MW4 through MWS, however, a trace but detectable <br /> Fax 916 372 2565 <br /> 916372 1434 <br /> Recycled paper <br />
