In order to completely evaluate this workplan and comment on this site, the most recent information must be submitted to PHS-EHD before additional field work is permitted . As of this date, the last monitoring report received by PHS-EHD is for the Third Quarter - 1997 . A 41 page fax was received on April 1 , 1998 for the Fourth Quarter - 1997 monitoring event after the report was requested by staff. This type of "submittal" is unacceptable and PHS-EHD again requests that reports be submitted by U . S . Mail prior to the next sampling event. EMCON's evaluation of the Third Quarter - 1997 monitoring report and selection of MW-1 and MW-5 as the only wells to be analyzed for the oxygenates is unacceptable. All wells , including the vapor wells with groundwater in the casings, will be analyzed by EPA Method 8260 , 8015m , and 8015 until notified by PHS-EHD . An iso-concentration map showing the limits of the oxygenates in the groundwater is to be included in the next monitoring report (Second Quarter - 1998), The January 28 , 1998 workplan is unapproved as submitted and will require the above noted items to be submitted prior to approval. The First Quarter - 1998 monitoring report and the Underground Tank Removal Report must be submitted to PHS-EHD and reviewed before the workplan can be approved .
