Date: July 28,2004
Quarter: 2°a Quarter,2004
ARCO QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT
Facility No.: 548
Address: 1612 Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA
ARCO Environmental Engineer: Paul Supple
Consulting Co./Contact Person: URS/Vernon Elarth
Consultant Project No.: 38466395.OL058
Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No.: Lori Duncan, San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department
WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER (First 2004):
1. Performed quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling. VW-5S was unable to be sampled due to
insufficient water.
2. Prepared and submitted quarterly groundwater monitoring report.
3. Performed operation and maintenance of the SVE and AS systems.System shut down on June 9,2004.
WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Second 2004):
1. Perform quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling.
2. Prepare and submit quarterly groundwater monitoring report.
. 3. Prepare site conceptual model.
4. Prepare response to County's request for a workplan for additional assessment.
QUARTERLY RESULTS SUMMARY (First 2004):
Current Phase of Project: Monitoring
Frequency of Groundwater Sampling: Wells MW-1 through MW-6 and VW-1 through VW-4,
VW-5S, and VW-5D sampled Quarterly
Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring: Quarterly
Is Free Product (FP) Present Onsite: No
FP Recovered this Quarter: None
Cumulative FP Recovered to Date: 7 gallons
Current Remediation Techniques: Natural Attenuation
Approximate Depth to Groundwater: 14.32 to 31.60 feet below ground surface (bgs)
Groundwater Flow and Gradient: East-Northeast @ 0.004 feet/foot (ft/ft)
ANALYTICAL DATA REVIEW:
Please note that as of April 1, 2004, the laboratory has changed the carbon range for gasoline range organics(GRO)
from C6 — C10 to C4 — C12 (to include the oxygenates). The resulting data may be impacted by the potential
inclusion of additional total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and non-TPHg analytes within the revised
carbon range, which may result in a higher reported concentration. Where the resulting GRO concentration is based
on a single
gle analyte(i.e.,a non-TPHg analyte or a single TPHg analyte),the analyte will be identified if possible.
•
&%WpmocesM BP ARCQW5481Quana1yU QTR 04\548 GWMR 2QWAoc Page 1
i
