3164 Gold:Camp©rive <br /> suite 200 <br /> .]v <br /> a � Rancho Cordova,CA 95670 soil <br /> Environrrnerotal U S A <br /> AConsultants,Inc 9161638-2085 <br /> FAX 9161638 8385 <br /> November 13, 2000 <br /> Ms Lisa Middleton <br /> San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District <br /> 4230 Kiernan Avenue, Suite 130 <br /> Modesto, California 95356-9322 <br /> Re Source Test Results <br /> Soil Vapor Extraction and Abatement System <br /> ARCO Service Station No 548 <br /> 1612 Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No D000-321 <br /> Dear Ms Middleton <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc is submitting this Source Test Report, on behalf of <br /> Atlanta Richfield Company (ARCO), to present the results of the startup and source <br /> testing of the soil vapor extraction and treatment (SVE) system at ARCO Station No 548 <br /> located at 1612 Hammer Lane, Stockton, California (see Figure 1) The startup and source <br /> testing was conducted on September 28, 2000 <br /> The SVE consists of a King Buck and Associates electric catalytic oxidizer, Model <br /> MMC5A at 100-cubic-feet-per-minute (cfm) The SVE system is connected to six vapor <br /> extraction wells (VW-I, VW-2, VW-3, VW-4, VW5S and VW5D), see Figure 2 The <br /> SVE system consists of a Roots rotary positive displacement blower used to extract <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon laden soil vapors The extracted soil vapors are abated in the <br /> catalytic oxidizer prior to discharge to the atmosphere EIectricity is used to maintain the <br /> appropriate oxidizer temperature (750 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit), to ensure adequate <br /> destruction of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> The source test was conducted consistent with the requirements identified in the <br /> conditions listed in the Authority to Construct (ATC No N-4124-1-0) The following <br /> activities were conducted during the source test <br /> • Monitor and record system influent and effluent flow rate, <br /> • Collect influent and effluent air samples, <br /> • Monitor and record applied vacuum on the vapor extraction wells, and <br /> • Monitor and record system operating temperature <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br /> I <br /> F <br />
