i
i
A Delta technician conducted seven site visits to optimize and maintain the SVEIAS system.
• Approximately 168 lbs of TPHG as gasoline was removed during the third quarter 2001, and a cumulative
mass of 1,030.43 lbs since startup (09128100). Influent air concentrations have increased during the last
sampling event (915101) of the third quarter. The increase in concentrations is probably due to the
decrease in groundwater elevations of approximately 2.5 feet. The compressor for air sparging was shut
down due neighbors complaining of the noise durin the was restarted a er ins a m a
Amer to operate betw 0 hrs. Delta will optimize the operation o e system by
increasing ows, and therefore influent concentrations, by changing the vacuum and flows from the
individual wells. The SVE system was in compliance with San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control
District permit to operate.
ATTACHMENTS:
• Table 1 Groundwater Monitoring Data
• Table 2 Groundwater Analytical Results for Oxygenates and Additional Compounds
• Table 3 Floating Product Monitoring Summary, Well VW-5D
• Table 4 Operational Uptime Information of the Soil Vapor Extraction System
• Table 5 Flow Rates and Analytical Results of Air Sample Analyses
• Table 6 Extraction and Emission Rates
• Figure 1 Site Topographic Map
• Figure 2 Groundwater Elevation Contours, 3" Quarter 2001
• Figure 3 Groundwater Analytical Summary 3`d Quarter 2001
• Figure 4 Influent Concentrations vs Time
• Figure 5 Cumulative Mass Removed vs Time
• Appendix A Field Data Sheets
• Appendix B Sampling and Analysis Procedures
+ Appendix C Certified Analytical Reports and Chain-of-Custody Records
i
PAARC0105481QTRL.Y1200I\Arco_0548_3Q01Report.doc Delta
