At a minimum the report should
include a history of remedial actions; and based upon most recent data and best engineering
practices, propose additional remedial actions. The proposed remedial actions shall include an
implementation time schedule.
CCR Section 2652 (d) states that until investigation and cleanup are complete, the owner or
operator shall submit reports to the local agency every three months or more frequently as
specified by the agency. Reports shall include but not be Iimited to, an update of the required
information in subsection (c) and the results of all investigation monitoring or corrective actions
which have occurred during the reporting period.
In addition, quarterly sampling of the monitoring wells and analysis of the samples shall be
included with the quarterly monitoring report to fulfill site characterization requirements. All
sampling activities shall be witnessed by PHS/EHD staff.
During the telephone conversation we agreed that PHS/EHD will accept the quarterly monitoring
reports in the current format if you provide the historical summary and proposed investigative
or remedial actions under separate cover. As stated in the Tri-Regional guidelines all work and
reports which require geologic or engineering evaluations and/or judgements must be performed
under the direction of an appropriately registered or certified California professional.
's
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
