(BP) is conducting an environmental investigation <br /> of the former BP-branded Site No. 11 193 located at 3.202 West Hammer Lane in <br /> Stockton, California. BP would like your help to find out if gasoline from the former <br /> BP Site is present in the soil or groundwater beneath the Kwik Kar'Wash property <br /> located immediately south of the former BP site. Your signature on this letter will <br /> grant BP permission to conduct the necessary tests on your property. <br /> As part of our investigation, BP proposes to install a monitoring well at the <br /> location shown on the attached figure. The monitoring point will look like the ones <br /> in the enclosed brochure. BP's contractor may collect samples from these points <br /> periodically to obtain additional information. <br /> If you agree to let BP and its contractor install .the soil borings and monitoring <br /> points on your property, BP will do the following: <br /> • BP will do this work at no cost to you. <br /> • BP will obtain your approval of the monitoring point location prior to I <br /> tL - in5tallatiori�th`e cines.'
