Working To Restore Nature
• February 12, 1993
' BP Oil Facility No. 11193, Stockton, California.
• Detectable concentrations of TPHg and BTEX were not present in composited soil
' samples collected from the drill cuttings.
• TPHg was detected in samples collected from wells MW-1 through MW-4 at
concentrations ranging from 110 to 2,200 parts per billion (ppb). Benzene was
detected in wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 at concentrations of 56, 120, and 2.8 ppb,
respectively.
'• Concentrations of TPHd, TOG, and HVCs were not detected in groundwater
samples collected from well MW-4 located adjacent to the underground used-oil
tank.
•, 5.0 LIMITATIONS
' This report was prepared in accordance with generally accepted standards of environmental
geologic practice in California at the time this investigation was performed. This
investigation was conducted solely for the purpose of evaluating environmental conditions
of the soil and groundwater, if encountered, with respect to hydrocarbon product. No soil
engineering or geotechnical references are implied or should be inferred. Evaluation of the
geologic conditions at the site for the purposes of this investigation is made from a limited
number of observation points. Subsurface conditions may vary away from the data points
available. Additional work, including further subsurface investigation, can reduce the
inherent uncertainties associated with this type of investigation.
•
1
•
l 17051.01 5
