r, u <br /> r� <br /> C A M B R I A <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> BP Oil Site No. 11193 <br /> 3202 West Hammer Lane ,o <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Cambria Project No. 852-1530-12 <br /> October 13, 2000 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) submits this Supplemental Investigation <br /> Report(Report)for activities at the above-referenced BP Oil Company(BP) site The scope of work <br /> for this investigation was described in the February 25, 2000 Supplemental Investigation Work Plan <br /> (Work Plan) which was approved in a March 10, 2000 San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division (SJCEHD) letter The site background, well installation activities, hydrocarbon and MTBE <br /> mass estimates, Caltrans well assessment, and conclusions and recommendations are described below <br /> c. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The site is an active 76-branded gasoline retail outlet located at the southwest corner <br /> of Hammer Lane and Kelly Drive in Stockton, California (see Figure 1) BP acquired the property <br /> from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1989 In 1994, BP transferred the property to TOSCO Marketing <br /> Company (TOSCO) and has not operated the facility since that time <br /> The site is located in a mixed commercial and residential area An ARCO-branded service station is <br /> located immediately west of the site <br /> An unnamed, levy-restricted slough and a man-made lake, located in a residential development, are <br /> located within 2,000 feet of the site An irrigation well owned and operated by the California <br /> Department of Transportation (Caltrans) was identified approximately 315 feet west of the site(see <br /> Figure 1) The Caltrans well was recently destroyed in preparation for reconfiguration of the <br /> Interstate 5 and Hammer Lane interchange <br /> 1 <br />
