Stockton, California <br /> December 16, 1999 <br /> One irrigation well and the seven site monitoring wells were reported within the 2,000-foot radius <br /> (see Table 1 and Figure 1) The irrigation well is owned and operated by the California <br /> Department of Transportation This well is located approximately 315 feet west of the site and <br /> screens from approximately 214 to 350 feet bgs <br /> In addition, the City of Stockton Municipal Water System (SMWS) was contacted regarding <br /> water-producing wells in the site vicinity During a telephone conversation, Mr Witzak Gilon <br /> indicated that there were no SMWS water wells within 2,000 feet of the site <br /> CPT INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES <br /> Personnel Present John Riggi, Cambria Geologist, working under the supervision of <br /> Khaled Rahman, California Registered Geologist Carol Oz of the <br /> SJCEHD observed portions of the sampling activities Sampling <br /> procedures are summarized in Appendix C <br /> Permits Permit No 020739 was issued by the SJCEHD for the drilling <br /> activities <br /> Drilling Company Precision Sampling, Inc of Richmond, California (C-57 License <br /> No 636387) <br /> Drilling Date 7-8 October, 1999 <br /> Drilling Method CPT direct push technology <br /> Number of Borings Six bonngs (CB-1 through CB-6) were advanced for sampling <br /> activities, and two borings (CB-2E and CB4E) were advanced for <br /> electric soil logging <br /> Boring Depths Except for boring CB-3, which was advanced to 35 feet bgs, the <br /> borings were advanced to 30 feet bgs (see Appendix D) <br /> i <br /> 6 <br />
