January 10, 2000 Corporation <br /> Page 3 A Member of The IT Group <br /> Laboratory Procedures <br /> Soil samples (and the groundwater grab sample, as appropriate) collected during over excavation <br /> activities will be submitted to the laboratory and analyzed for the presence of total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons calculated as gasoline (TPH-g), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX..:, <br /> compounds), and fudl-bxygenates j In addition, selected soil samples will be analyzed for 1,2- <br /> dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), ethylene dibromide (EDB) and-total lead. If total lead results are over <br /> 50 parts per million samples will be analyzed for STLC..lead- <br /> Reporting and Schedule <br /> After completion of the field work and laboratory analyses, the data will be evaluated and <br /> assembled into a report. Included in the report will be soil (and groundwater) analytical results, <br /> chain-of-custody documentation, a summary of field activities and observations, manifests and <br /> destination of soil, and conclusions.
