PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br /> Robert McClellon,REHS <br /> Jeff Carruesco, REHS,RDI <br /> Willy Ng,REHS <br /> Muniappa Naidu, REHS <br /> January 30, 2020 Michael Kith,REHS <br /> Melissa Nissim, REHS <br /> Ranjit Singh <br /> 17900 Murphy Parkway <br /> Lathrop, Ca 95330 <br /> RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> 25 East French Camp Road, French Camp <br /> APN 193-070-14, PA-1800259, SR0081494 <br /> Questa Engineering Corp reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study and the onsite <br /> wastewater treatment system (OWTS) designed by an engineer, dated November 30, 2019, for the <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> The SSNL Study was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for OWTS usage and <br /> the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater for a development project at above noted location. The <br /> development project includes tractor-trailer vehicle parking facility with a shop, office and restroom, and four <br /> employees and eight customers operating six days per week for the above noted location. <br /> Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br /> 1. The SSNL Study supports the suitability for the OWTS usage with the following conditions: <br /> a. The OWTS designed by an engineer, dated November, 2019, has been reviewed and <br /> accepted. <br /> b. The comments and recommendations resulting from the review are attached for your <br /> consideration. <br /> 2. Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge into the OWTS. No basement, footing or surface <br /> drainage or discharge from water softener, iron filter, pool filters, or water treatment systems shall be <br /> permitted to enter any part of the OWTS (San Joaquin County OWTS Standards 1.10.1). <br /> a. Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: automobile and garage waste, storm drainage, <br /> solvents and toxics, solids, garbage, kitchen wastewater from restaurant or bar, air <br /> conditioners, hazardous wastes, backwash, truck terminal wastes, recreational vehicle holding <br /> tank waste, industrial and manufacturing waste, and food processing wastes (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1110.7 and San Joaquin County OWTS). <br /> If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator at mkith _s0qov.or. <br /> q or <br /> (209) 468-3444. <br /> Michael Kith, REHS <br /> Program Coordinator <br /> Attachment <br /> c: Don Chesney, PE, Chesney Consulting <br /> 1868 E.
