Hammer Lane
Stockton, CA
The following comments pertain to the text within the "Draft"
Preliminary Soil and Groundwater Investigation dated September 19, f
1990.
1. Reports are required to bear the stamp or seal and
signature of a registered geologist, certified geologist,
or registered engineer, with the State of California.
(Business and Professions Codes, subseciton 7835 and
7835. 1. )
2 . During our meeting of September 24, 1990, Mr. Stone
stated data would be provided supporting the "perched" i
aquifer theory. To date, we have not received this data
for consideration.'. }
3 . The remaining monitoring wells have screened intervals
which begin below the static water levels, 2 feet in MW-4
and about 5 feet in' MW-2 and MW-3. We question the i
validity of the data'lfrom these wells as representative
when looking for floating contaminants.
4 . Since MW-1, MW-2 , and MW-4 are within 50 feet from a
sewer line, fecal coliform sampling was required. We are
enclosing our "Specia'1 Permit Policy" which explains this
section of San Joaquin County's well ordinance. Sampling
for fecal coliform, is to be done as soon as possible for
our evaluation.
P
i
- I
i
j
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services .
