U U <br /> Work Plan For Plume Evaluation <br /> n Quik Stop Market No. 132 <br /> �] 3555 West Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br />� � f <br /> OBJECTIVE <br /> The objective of the proposed scope of work is to further evaluate the contaminant plume at the <br /> subject site, at the request of the SJCPHS-EHD. This objective will be fulfilled by evaluating the UST <br /> system integrity and potential for ongoing release, and further evaluating potential receptors within the <br /> vicinity of the site. In addition, ATC will attempt to demonstrate that the vertical and lateral extent of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil and groundwater at the site has been sufficiently defined by the <br /> current and previously completed site investigation work. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following scope of work has been proposed to meet the objectives: <br /> Task 1 Review UST records and perform UST system inspection; t <br /> Task 2 Advance Borings and Perform Sampling and Analysis; <br /> Task 3. Perform Expanded Well Survey; <br /> Task 4. Evaluate the contaminant plume through compilation of cross sections; and <br /> Task 5. Prepare an Evaluation Report. <br /> I <br /> WORK DESCRIPTION <br /> Task 1. Review UST Records and Perform UST System Inspection <br /> 7 The potential for an ongoing release at the site will be investigated by evaluating the UST system <br /> L] integrity. The UST system will be evaluated through review of records and inspections. <br /> The UST records review will include the following: <br /> • Annual Monitoring System Certification records; <br /> • Repairs and maintenance records; <br /> • Records of any water pumped out from the tanks; and <br /> • Records of product or water removed from the sumps, spill containment boxes, and dispenser <br /> containment boxes. <br /> 1 The UST inspection activities will include the following: <br /> • All monitoring equipment will be checked, including all sensors, and line leak detectors; <br /> • Spill containment boxes will be checked for the presence or'indication of spills; <br /> • Dispenser pans(Bravo Boxes)will be checked; <br /> • Sumps will be checked for the presence of product, corrosion, or indications of product release; <br /> • Turbine pumps will be checked for any visible signs of product releases, and; <br /> I:W Pro® QU1KMVQS 132(0003)%EpORTSMWOR UN(K�&Tar*k XR)A. <br /> 4 <br />
