In July 1990, a leak was detected in the vicinity of the <br /> gasoline USTs. Subsequent excavation around the product lines indicated the presence of <br /> hydrocarbon impacted soil. <br /> Between August 23, and September 13, 1990, Exceltech completed an initial site assessment <br /> consisting of the completion of five soil borings (B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4 and B-5) and the installation <br /> of four groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2,-,MW-3 and MW-4). The .soil and <br /> groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) and j <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) in accordance with EPA Test Methods 8015 <br /> and 8020, respectively.
