11
4' 5.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
1' Based on the findings derived from the groundwater monitoring and sampling event conducted in
December 2004, ATC recommends reduction in monitoring frequency and removal from
monitoring program of several wells. The following are the changes to the monitoring and
1' sampling schedule recommended by ATC:
• Monitoring wells MW-1R, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-7 and MW-9 be sampled
annually, rather than quarterly and analyzed as follows:
- Monitoring-w11 MW-1R be analyzed for TPH-G and MTBE by EPA Methods
1' 8015M/80M-; AN g'"` yYn
- Monitoring well MW-2 be analyzed for TPH-G, MTBE and TBA by EPA Method
' 8260B;
- Monitoring well MW-4 be analyzed for TPH-G and BTEX by EPA Methods
8015M/8020; 0-
- Monitoring well MW-5 be analyzed for TPH-G, MTBE and TBA by EPA Method Yn
' 8260B; I Monitoring well MW-7 be analyzed for by EPA Method 8020; 1
- Monitoring well MW-9 be analyzed for rG, MTBE and*by EPA Method
8260B. ,o 4
' • TPH-G, BTEX or fuel oxygenates compounds either haven't been detected or
insignificant amounts , e reported ingroundwater samples collected from monitoring
wells MW-3, MW-6,m T-S, and -10 sampled since 1992 and 2001.
