Stockton, CA
„r
Attached groundwater monitoring report(Blaine Tech, 2/15/96)
hl
j Dear Ms. Meays:
I
Attached you will find a report dated February 15, 1996, which-was prepared by Chevron's consultant,
Blaine Tech Services Inc. (Blaine Tech),to describe the results of groundwater monitoring that was
performed at the subject site on January 23, 1996.
In January,Blaine Tech gaugedand sampled seven of the fourteen site-related wells. The remaining seven
are completed above the present groundwater level. All groundwater samples were analyzed for the
fpresence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents-.
q The measured direction of-groundwater flow during January was toward the east-southeast.Detectable
concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were measured at wells MW79,MW-10, and MW-13. The -
t measured concentrations were consistent with those detected during previous site monitoring events. The
groundwater results at all other wells were non-detect. It should be pointed out that the.measured depth to
groundwater at wells MW-9,MW-10, and'MW-11 was above the top of the screened interval at each well.
The height of water above the screens varied from 2.21eet at MW-11 to 11.9 feet at MW-9. As a result,
measured concentrations at these wells could be lower than those measured when water levels were within
the screened interval. However; the observed trends in concentrations at these wells when water levels
have been within the screened interval show concentrations to be tion-detect or decreasing:
' If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
y:
I
s Sincerely, - - -
Brett L.
