The.remaining four are former vapor wells and {
were inaccessible. Three of the ten wells.gauged were dry (MW-1, MW-7, and MW-8). The
measured direction of groundwater flow was toward the northeasL
Groundwater samples were analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents.
Detectable concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were measured at wells MW-9, MW-11, and
MW-13. Non-detect results were.measured at wells MW-2R, MW:10, MW`12, and MW-14. The
quarterly monitoring results demonstrate that the dissolved hydrocarbon plume is defined, no-
migration is occurring,and that contaminantlevelsare naturally attenuating.
Chevron is currently preparing a corrective action plan to be submitted to your agency for review.
If you have any questions or comments,I-can be reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely, p
I/ /-
Brett L.
