Box 2009
Stockton, CA .95201
Re: Former Chevron Station#9-1918
45 E. Harding Way,Stockton, CA
l
Dear Ms. Meays:
Enclosed is a report dated August 21, 1991 -which was prepared by Chevron's consultant,
Groundwater Technology, Inc. (GTI),to describe the installation and sampling of one groundwater
monitoring well on July 16, 1991 at the site referenced above. €
Soil samples from the boring were collected at five feet intervals for laboratory, analysis. The
results indicate that the concentrations of hydrocarbons in the subsurface soils have decreased
significantly since a vapor extraction and treatment system began operation in November 1990.
The boring was completed as a groundwater monitoring well and a groundwater sample was
collected for laboratory analysis. The results indicate that the groundwater does not contain
benzene above the detection limit, nor does the ground contain levels of any BTEX
constituent above California drinking water.standards.
If you have any questions or comments, you may contact me at(510) 842-8658.
Sincerely,
Clint B.
