Ten of the fourteen groundwater monitoring wells were gauged to
determine depth to groundwater (D1W) and to check for the presence of separate-phase petroleum
hydrocarbons. Monitoring wells MW-i, MW-7, and MW-8 were dry. Monitoring wells MW-3,
MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 are modified for vapor extraction and were not monitored or sampled.
Separate-phase hydrocarbons were not detected in the monitoring wells. A potentiometric surface
map and a summary of groundwater monitoring data are presented in Attachments 1 and.2,
respectively. After measuring DTW, monitoring wells MW-2R, MW-9, MW-10, MW-11, MW-12,
MW-13, and MW-14 were purged and sampled. Groundwater monitoring and sample collection
protocol and field data sheets are presented in Attachment 3. The groundwater samples were
analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, and total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-
gasoline. Laboratory reports and chain-of-custody records are included in Attachment 4-
Monitoring well purge water was transported by Groundwater Technology to the Chevron Terminal
in Richmond, California, for.recycling.
Groundwater Technology, Inc. is pleased to assist Chevron on this project.
