07 April 2000
AGE-NC Project No. 99-0653
Sample B1-2.5 was not submitted to the laboratory for analysis. Laboratory reports for soil and
ground water sample, analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation are attached.
FINDINGS
TPH-d was detected in soil sample B 1-6.0 at a concentration of 3.9 mg/kg.No TPH-g,BTEX or fuel
oxygenating compounds were detected in the soil sample B1-6.0 or the ground water sample from
well KP-3.
CONCLUSION
Based upon the analytical results of the soil sample collected and analyzed from boring B1, it
appears that very low concentrations ofresidual diesel are present within the former UST excavation.
However,it does not appear that the former UST operation has impacted ground water 250 feet east
of the former UST excavation.
The opportunity to provide this service is greatly appreciated.
