<br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Board) staff received the March 2005
<br /> Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan Addendum that proposes the installation of monitoring well
<br /> MW-12S north of the Koppel site in Stockton. The Addendum follows the November 2004 Monitoring
<br /> Well Installation Work Plan which proposed the installation of MW-11 S and MWA OS to delineate
<br /> nitrate pollution north of the Koppel facility. Regional Board staff reviewed and concurred with the
<br /> November 2004 Work Plan in our 2 December 2004 letter.
<br /> In a 19 April 2005 telephone communication with your consultant, Ms. Alexa Stamets of CH2MHil1, she
<br /> stated that the same construction procedures would be followed for MW-12S as for monitoring wells
<br /> MW-10S and MW-11S, and that all three monitoring wells will be installed in June 2005. Regional
<br /> Board staff concur with the proposed addition, and look forward to reviewing the Well Installation
<br /> Appendix that will accompany the Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report, which is due 1 November
