The scope of <br /> work included disposal of septic tank contents, soil sample collection, sample analysis, permitting <br /> of septic system repairs, repair of septic system connections and preparation of this report. <br /> Background information was included in the AGE-prepared Limited Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> (Septic Tank Area), dated 07 December 2004 and approved by San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJCEHD) on 16 December 2004. The location of the site is indicated on <br /> (Figure 1). <br /> SEPTIC WASTE DISPOSAL <br /> The septic tank contents were treated with 6-gallons of 6%chlorine bleach,(a ratio of approximately <br /> 1 gallon bleach per 250 gallons of septic waste)to kill coliform bacteria. Once treated the contents <br /> were removed and placed in an on-site holding tank. On 11 November 2004,the treated contents of <br /> the septic tank were pumped from the holding tank into a Clean Harbors Environmental Services, <br /> Inc.transfer truck and hauled to the Clean Harbors facility in San Jose, California. A total of 1,250 <br /> gallons was transported and disposed of under hazardous waste manifest 23639956. A copy of the <br /> manifest is included in Appendix A. <br /> SUBSURFACE FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> The investigation was conducted in accordance with Limited Site Assessment Work Plan (Septic <br /> Tank Area)to collect and analyze soil samples from beneath the septic tank,distribution box,every <br /> 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 Fax(209)467-1118 <br />
