Although found at detectable <br /> concentrations in the April ;2007 soil samples, the analytes n-butylbenzene, <br /> n-propylbenzene, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, Cd, Cr, and Ni will not <br /> be tested for, since either the previous detections of these analytes were at levels less than <br /> Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs)l or because no ESL for the chemical exists. f <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work has been subdivided into four main tasks, as outlined below. <br /> All work will be conducted under the direct supervision of a State of California <br /> Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer, and will be conducted in accordance with <br /> standards established by the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations of Preliminary <br /> Investigation and Evaluation of U7 derground Tank Sites (RWQCB, April 2004). <br /> Task 1: Pre-field Activities <br /> Following approval of this work plan by the SJCEHD, the following activities will be <br /> completed: <br /> • Obtain soil boring and.well installation permits from SJCEHD, <br /> • Obtain an encroachment permit from the City of Lathrop to work in the City right- <br /> of-way. <br /> • Retain and schedule a licensed C-57 drilling contactor, <br /> • 'Develop a health and safety plan for the site, <br /> • Physically mark the proposed drilling locations, <br /> • Contact Underground Service Alert and subcontract a private utility locator to <br /> locate underground utilities in the vicinity of the work site, and <br /> • Notify the SJCEHD and the property owner of the scheduled field activities. <br /> 'Screening For Environmental Concerns At Sites With Contaminated Soil and Groundwater,Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> San Francisco Region,Interim Final-February 2005—Table A:ESLs for Shallow Soils(<3m)where Groundwater IS a Current or <br /> Potential Source of Drinking Water. <br /> K:\Joe's Truck Plaza\Work Plans\Joe's Truck-SOUTH PARCEL-WP for Site Assessment 11-30-07.doc STRATUS <br /> I <br />
