Hand rinse and dry Bucket 3-to 5-gallan size,and paper towels. c� j.� GENERAL SAFETY MEASURES Ey The following general safety procedures shall be followed by all persons entering and/or working in the designated work zones: No employee or subcontractor may be allowed on-site without "f the prior knowledge and consent of the site safety officer. Er All personnel at the site shall be advised of the site safety requirements as discussed in this plan. • All contractor or subcontractor personnel shall_ bring to the tr: attention of the site safety officer er resident project representative any unsafe condition or practice associai:ed with the work activities that they are unable to correct p.. themselves. - - - • There will be no smoking, eating, chewing gum, or drinking in the contamination zone. • Hands shall be thoroughly cleaned prior to smoking, eating, or other activities outside the contamination zone. • Team members must avoid unnecessary contamination (i.e. , walking through known or suspected "hot" zones or contaminated puddles, kneeling or sitting on the ground, leaning against potentially contaminated barrels or equipment. • Respiratory devices may not be worn with beards, long sideburns,._ or.-under_other conditions that prevent a proper seal. t f ,
