The ares surr°unding the UST excavation is—sliown on the <br /> attached Figure 1 - UST Excavation Plan. <br /> The analytical results of the soil samples indicated that the samples <br /> collected from the bottom of the south end of tha excavation ri the <br /> contaminated <br /> aanda3e2 <br /> soil pile are contaminated with toluene (0.84 ppm),etroleu-: hydrocarbons ([TPH] <br /> ppm) , total xylenes (5.1 and 12.0 ppm) and total plied action levels(drinking <br /> 690 and 1,100 ppm) at concentrations exceeding app <br /> water standards [DWSj or Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual en•lo d jb)y the <br /> addition the benzene detection limits (0.25 and 0.025 pp ) p y <br /> not able <br /> laboratory exceeded the DWS for benzene (0.001 ppm). The laboratory was eared to <br /> to fingerprint the TPH samples but indicated that the chromatograms appical <br /> indicate the presence of mixture <br /> that o <br /> f gasoline and diesel fuel. The analyt <br /> categasoline is present in the subsurface.
