The plan
is a proposal to extract the soil and groundwater gasoline vapor contamination due to
unauthorized releases from the UST which was located on the property.
EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with California
Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of
Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create
significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from
cleanup of the contamination.
The remediation plan is available for public review at PHS/EHD, 304 E. Weber Avenue,
Stockton during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. SVE/IAS for soil and
groundwater corrective action is scheduled to begin March 15, 2001.
Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3442 or sent in writing to her at 304 E.
