Let me know if you need a
stand-alone document.
I have attached a table that summarizes groundwater concentrations last encountered from the Sierra
Lumber Case I. As the table indicates, there were eight groundwater monitoring wells(MW-1 through
MW-8) installed at the site. Wells MW-1, MW-3, MW-4A, MW-413, MW-5, MW-6, MW-7 &MW-8
all declined to non-detect levels. Well MW-2 was the only well with remaining impact in the well at the
time of the last monitoring event(February 2006). 1 have attached excel spreadsheets for wells MW-1,
MW-2, MW-3, MW-4A, MW-413 and MW-6 that project the TPH-g concentration linear trendline to
time of water quality objectives (i.e. non detect). Also, wells MW-5, MW-7 & MW-8 did not encounter
any TPH-g impact in groundwater and therefore I did not attach any graphs.
Time to reach water quality objectives:
MW-1 : March 2004
MW-2: March 2007
MW-3: September 1999
MW-4A: July 2004
MW-413: October 2004
MW-5:No Detection
MW-6: February 2006
MW-7: No Detection
MW-8:No Detection
Please let me know if you need any additional information pertaining to groundwater concentrations at
the site. I will be working on the before and after mass volume calc's the remainder of the day and I
should be able to have something to you by Monday.
Have a great weekend. -Tim
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] rmailto:vmccartneyCd)sicehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2014 2:06 PM
To: tcuellarCaladvaeoenv.com
Subject: Case 1 - Sierra Lumber
Hi Tim,
I know that you are very busy and I hate to bother you, but on February 12, 2014, 1 sent an email asking you for
the following information concerning Case 1 for Sierra Lumber at 375 West Hazelton Avenue in Stockton:
• An estimate when groundwater will return to water quality objectives; and
• Estimates of the residual dissolved and adsorbed contaminant masses of contaminants of concern either
prior to or following remediation by soil vapor extraction and insitu air sparging.
You sent an email on 14 February 2014 verifying that I meant Case 1 and not Case 2 but after that, I did not
receive the information that I requested for Case 1.
Will you please send this information to me? It can be in an email; If you don't have time to do this in the near
future, will you please let me know when I will receive this information?
Thanks, Tim.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
9/8/2014
